Islamic Will and Testimony
Alhamdulillaah, Germantown Masjid offers an Islamic Will and Testament document that any muslim can fill out and get notarized. The will is in accordance to Islamic guidelines and standards as outlined by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. It is extremely important that every Muslim has a will ready, especially for those who are living in non-Muslim countries or with non-Muslim family members, where the burial standards are not in accordance with Islamic standards according to the laws of the land they reside.
The Obligation of Having a Will Written and Ready
Shaykh Hassan gives an important reminder on the obligation of having a will ready as mentioned by the scholars:

What To Do With The Form
Submit Your Will Online
It would be ideal if we kept a digital record of everyone’s will online. So we ask that you also submit a copy of your will online using the form below. This will allow us to have a digital record of everyone’s will and can help in the future at the time of your death.
(This is done by you submitting your will through a Google form. Since this requires you to upload a document, Google will ask you to sign in to your account before you submit the form.)
Update: There is no need to send a copy of your will to the Dawah center. Online is sufficient.
We ask Allah to give you what is best in this life and in the hereafter.
